OUR MARES

All of our mares are "Registered and Certified to Breed" with the RMHA, and they are responsibly bred to clear-eyed and ASD-free stallions. We strive to produce healthy, sound, ASD-free foals.

Remington's Mountain Rose  -is a friendly, chocolate mare with a gorgeous, thick mane and tail. Because she was one of our first Rocky Mountain Horses, imported from the United States, Rose is a dream come true and so special to us. She is the most gentle and non-confrontational mare on our farm, and she gets along with all our horses. To our delight, we often see Rose gaiting perfectly in the pasture, and she seldom does any other gait.

Rose had her first foal in 2010, and she was an attentive and caring mother. Her silver buckskin filly (Foxy) was sired by a wonderful buckskin stallion, Post Rock's Nugget. We have not decided for sure if we will sell Foxy, as she is an outstanding young filly and a very rare color.

Cappucino's Silver Belle  -is a tall, sweet, and gentle chocolate roan mare that was also imported from the United States. We love Belle's old-time conformation, especially her beautiful head and mesmerizing eyes. She is our senior mare who looks out for the herd, and she is the brave one. When we move our herd to another area of the farm, Belle winnies consistently to each horse in the herd until they are all in the new pasture.

In 2009, Belle gave birth to a chocolate roan filly (Zioske's Winnie) by Jake's Mirror, and this filly was sold and now resides in France. In 2010, Belle was bred to our new stallion, Lightfoot, for a 2011 foal. The foal will be a 5-STAR FOAL with an AMAZING PEDIGREE which includes ALL FIVE SONS OF TOBE. We are taking deposits on this foal to be reserved "in utero" to an approved home.

Jubal's Hannah T Roe  -is also tall, chocolate, and one of our first Rocky Mountain Horses. At three years old, we started her under-saddle, and we plan to get her Certified to Breed soon. Hannah catches everyone's eye with her beautiful chiselled head, and her young, playful antics. She has her own special way of communicating with us through funny and adorable vocal sounds.

Hannah takes our breath away when we watch her gait smoothly and effortlessly across the field in her completely natural and "gliding" way of going. She shows abundant potential to be an especially great Rocky mare.
